WOW can’t believe we are five days from EASTER SUNDAY!  Granite United is going to BRING IT 10:30 AM at the Tenney Grammar School in Methuen, MA (COME EARLY, SERIOUSLY, I WOULD BE THERE NO LATER THAN 10 or 10:15 for a seat)

This past Sunday Pastor Anthony Milas preached a message called “You might not Survive this Service.”  Reminding us that LIFE is SHORT and the STAKES are way too high to spend our time and lives on stuff that doesn’t matter a bit in eternity.  Not only that, we spend time, money, energy on stuff that can be undone in moments. 

We are strange like that.

I have a good friend (he is awesome guy a part of our church) who almost died in an insane motorcycle accident last year.  This guy was a personal trainer, I mean he put tons of effort into working out and training.  In the 1st week of his coma he lost all that muscle.  All of it.  GONE.  Down the toilet.

It was the greatest day of his life.  His relationship with Jesus showed him that his life was precious, he didn’t need to chase down all these temporary highs, but realized that EVERYTHING He needed was in Jesus and the amazing wife he had.

Jesus is like that.  

So this coming EASTER SUNDAY you aren’t inviting people to church “for church sake.”  Just imagine that you are giving someone an opportunity to turn the tables on the temporary.  Imagine that you are giving a person the CHANCE OF A LIFETIME to see LIFE for ALL of it’s ETERNAL GLORY and PURPOSE through Jesus.
