Just Do It
Ever heard of the paralysis of analysis? If not, it’s when you look at something from every angle and become overwhelmed to the point where you never make a decision.
It’s not a big deal if you are by yourself and it has to do with picking out lunch or buying a pair of socks.
It’s a huge deal if others are waiting on your decision. These “others” can be family, co-workers, friends, etc.
Your decisions aren’t isolated. You impact others. Your lack of action leads to frustration, concern, or scrambling in the lives of the people who rely on you to make decisions or set the course. Especially if your decisions impact other leaders. They will lead and they will make decisions if you or I fail to act or chart the course.
